Creative Writing Elective
Unfortunately, we did not have a budget to run Creative Writing this year. We hope to run it again in the future!
Creative Writing offers an opportunity for personal expression and open-ended collaborative projects. Students have a significant amount of choice including the genres they write in (journals, song lyrics, fiction, poetry etc) and the topics they choose to write about. The class is fun and low stress, with ample time to complete projects during class. In addition, the course looks great to colleges as a UC/CSU approved A-G elective.
Unlike electives with consistent funding, there is no guarantee that Creative Writing will be offered in future years. Each year, our school fights hard to fund for the class - take the class now while you have the opportunity!
